Kings of Leon released their fourth album later the month on this release, their second in successive years, and by rights the Nashville quartet would’ve be running short on ideas by now. Their brand of whiskey-stained Southern rock could only be entertaining for so long, right? Well, actually, wrong. “Sex on Fire” proves there was still plenty of fuel in the Followill clan’s tank and more than justifies their recent leap to festival headliner status.
